Game 4: Gilgeous-Alexander explodes in the fourth quarter as Thunder surge past Pacers 111-104 to even the Finals.

With the game — and possibly their season — hanging in the balance, the Oklahoma City Thunder knew exactly who to trust.

They turned to their MVP.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stepped up in a huge way, scoring 15 of his 35 points in the final 4:38 to power the Thunder’s comeback from a 10-point second-half deficit. His late-game heroics sealed a 111-104 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night, knotting the NBA Finals at two games apiece.

“He showed exactly who he is tonight,” said Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault.

Gilgeous-Alexander dominated the closing moments. Oklahoma City ended the game on a 16-7 run — and he accounted for all but one of those points.

“We played with urgency in the final stretch,” SGA said. “That’s what made the difference.”

Jalen Williams chipped in 27 points, Alex Caruso scored 20, and Chet Holmgren posted a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Despite making just three 3-pointers — a season low — and with Gilgeous-Alexander recording no assists for the first time this season, the Thunder still found a way to win.
