The NFL announced Thursday that former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been suspended for the first 10 weeks of the upcoming season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
The suspension will begin on August 26, coinciding with roster cutdown day, and Tucker will be eligible to return on November 11. Despite the suspension, Tucker is still allowed to work out with teams and sign a new contract. If signed, he may take part in training camp and preseason games. If he remains unsigned, he can still serve the suspension and be eligible for reinstatement in November.
Tucker, 35, became a free agent last month after being released by the Ravens following reports that massage therapists had accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior. He has denied any wrongdoing during the sessions.
A five-time All-Pro, Tucker spent his entire 13-year career with the Ravens and is widely regarded as one of the greatest kickers in NFL history, although his performance declined in 2024.
